Walks and Photography are Catching On!

Sharing walks, photos, and creative expression is a great way to get active in CameraWalking.

We headed out on Saturday afternoon to join about 100 people with Smartphones for the “Be Mobile End of Summer Photo Walk” sponsored by Seattle’s KING5 TV and WeAreJuxt, a mobile arts community with people contributing from all over the world. This was a great photo gathering on an awesome evening to take photos in the Seattle Art Museum’s Olympic Sculpture Park. When you are in Seattle, this is a special place you should not miss!

We met lots of great people that represented several groups that love photography and have some very interesting sites. Check these links out:

  • Instagramers Seattle  is a group of Seattleites that are devoted to covering the world with photos on Instagram
  • EyeEm wants you to “open your eyes to discover places and things you love, through every photo you take.”
  • Trover is an awesome site gathering travel photos from every corner of the world.

For us, our walk continued for the next 2 hours along Seattle’s Elliott Bay waterfront parks, leading to a fun collection of great shots.

This is the Olympic Sculpture Park & Myrtle Edwards route along Elliott Bay that can take you all the way to Ballard!
